« on: September 30, 2019, 07:25:32 pm »
Somehow my slide shifted slightly to one side. Now it's hitting the frame on one side so bad that I had to remove the wood frame to get the slide in .I'm on a cross country trip  not something you want happening so to mess up a trip... pyho pyho got to find a way to adjust  now traveling the frame off and in my way But slide working fine with no frame.

when the slide is extended, look under the slide at the screw mechanism. Make sure that all the brackets and guides are tight and in place.

Depending on the slide manf.  There are a ton of videos on line by manf that address re syncing slides.  They do get out of wack.  All this unless it was actually a  physical shift caused by an outside force of some type.

If your 2018 model has the Lippert  Schwintek mechanism you might want to leave it retracted until you can visit an  expert service department. Give Google a shot, but unfortunately you might find no easy answers.

Last spring we camped next to a new Forest River class A with an inoperable Schwintek  full wall slideout. After 3 days it was still  sitting on jack stands fully extended but severely tilted  because the mobile rv service techs had NEI (no earthly idea) how to fix it.
Goin' where the wind goes...

I'll have to check the manual to see the manufacturer of this slide mechanism. But looking at the underside and exterior when slide is out shows no adjustments .As it is working fine  in and out as long as l keep one piece of the interior wood frame off..that one side
.I'll see and find a salutation and post results  thanks for all your replies....

heartshower YouTube has lots of info on LippertSwinteck slides used on the newer Phoenix Cruisers . Nothing was out of sync on my slide  the sofa it self shifted to one side. Found a bolt loose  pulled and  tighten  did the  trick  replaced the wood frame and all is well.  Thanks for all replies.  On the road again.....
