Rv Cover for Phoenix Cruiser ?
« on: August 08, 2019, 01:39:56 pm »
Anyone cover there Phoenix Cruiser to protect from sun and rain?
I just had my Rv detailed and new graphics put on and want to keep it covered.  I read about classic and addco covers are bad quality and the guy who did my rv said Sunbrella is the best cover for rv's. He said they are
expensive. Anyone have any thoughts?

I use an adco and yes it’s too big. I don’t care, it’s not about curb appeal. Quality wise I wouldn’t call them great by any means but I’m on my third year and mayyybe I’ll get four. Have to wait and see. Considering I’m in the low desert with temps this past week as high as 118 it’s held up pretty well.

One thing to consider no matter which you buy is weight. I have no idea of others buy even the so called light weight material of the adco can be a handful at times when your installing or removing. Of course typically the lighter the material the thinner and possibly easier to tear?

Recently got a quote on a Sunbrellla cover for a 2552 from CalMark.
They look like exceptional quality but the price quoted was:
CalMark Quote: $1,044.00      (plus S & H)

I have experience with Adco covers that I used on my fifth wheel. After about 3 New England winters they are starting to get tattered but have streched an extra year or two before.
The CalMark comes with a six year warranty as well as an initial fit warranty as each one is made to order.

I am going to take a closer look at the Goldline covers:

Certainly a compromise from CalMark but a whole lot more affordable and at first glance look much nicer than Adco.

JOSEPH, you are right about weight. I was told sunbrella is a great product but it is heavy.
Thanks.

Serrano, my Adco has been adequate but I’m not sure the quality in regards to price is in line with other products. I’ll probably try another brand when I’ve milked this one as long as I can. I’m not willing to pay a grand or more for a cover but there are other options not too much more than the adco.

Jim pointed out the gold line. I haven’t done much research on them other than to see they offer a 5year warranty for whatever that might be worth. They run around $500. If a person could get 5-6 or more years with it that’s not a bad price.   I don’t know about weight. I also not all that sure on how a warranty works. I’m betting they don’t warranty against tearing etc so I wouldn’t weigh my entire decision based on warranty.
