AC cyling on and off.
« on: July 29, 2019, 11:01:21 am »
Did a search and can't find the answer. I have a 3100 with one AC. AC is working and coach is cool. Outside temp is 73. Humidity is 85%. Thermostat is set at 72. Air filters are clean and unit is not freezing up. AC cycles on for less than 2 minutes then off for about 5 minutes. Is this normal under these conditions?

Yes, that sounds normal to me. Especially if your PC is in the sun.

I had that happen to me. My a/c vents were pointing at the thermostat causing it to cycle. I redirected the vent flow away from thermostat and ran normally. Check that.

Morning We had a problem with ac coming on then off and right back on and when we were in for warranty service, at the plant,  we stayed an extra day to have ac man check things out. He did find a problem with one unit we have 2, and then he readjustment the vent openings that they did not redirect air towards the thermostat on the wall above the sink.. 2910T location... and that did help a great deal. So you direct the vent openings for function not your personal want the cool air to blow your toupe' maybe.
