Not sure why that thread is locked...

There is a way to upload pictures here also.

When you are composing a post or reply, Look below the 'box' you type in. There is a " Attachments and other options " in blue, click on it.

You will see 'Attach:'  with 'Choose File' below. Click on 'choose file', and browse to the location that has the picture.

LIMITS:  maximum individual size 240KB  for any one pic. I use 'Bome's Image Resizer' to shrink pics to the size limit.

10 pics maximum, OR  1280 KB combined.  If you try to choose too big a picture, it will give you a notice.

Hope this helps!

DONT click on the clickbait ads. The grey square with the 'download' and the windows-looking button is the right one. The ads specialize in LOOKING like the software...but are not.  >(

Not the best GUI, but easy once you figure it out, and not a huge learning curve.  :)(:

If you're using a Windows PC, it comes with an image resizer.  It's called "Paint".  Just edit the image , click "resize", and pick a different size (300 pixels wide will probably do it).  It also helps to save the file as a ".PNG" file instead of ".JPG".

That is way too hard. This is the best solution to resize images with windows.

There is a really easy way to reduce your picture size and resolution on your PC.
If you have Windows XP, I recommend that you download (free) this small program from Microsoft
Click to download - ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

You just run this program once. It adds a new selection to your right click menu, when you right click a JPG file.
Then in your directory where you upload your pictures, you just right click on the picture file or select a whole group of pictures or a single picture. The pop-up menu will have a new selection, "Resize Pictures". When you click it gives you several picture size options and compresses the content to make uploads fast. It does not change your original, it renames the new file.

If you have Vista, Win 7,8,10 - Click to download Image Resizer Click DOWNLOAD, then click Image Resizer link (ImageResizerSetup-3.1.1.exe)
Follow same instructions as above for XP.
