Winegard RZ-6000 Rayzar z1 TV Antenna

Has anyone changed their old Bat Wing antenna to the Winegard RZ-6000 Rayzar TV Antenna.  I am concerned about clearances around antenna and distance to the front of roof.
I have a 2012 PC3100.

I think you have a valid concern about the position where this antennae would mount. My guess is that all PC's antennae are mounted relatively close to the front, where the entertainment center is located. I too would be concerned about the lift created by compressed airflow at highway speed, especially in conditions like a gusty headwind.

I checked reviews on Amazon, and while most were favorable as to reception strength, some thought their batwing style was better.

Is PC using this style on their new units?
Hope someone replies to you with actual experience.

I just replaced the batwing antenna with a King Jack antenna. What I love is no crank up/down. It looks tall in the video, but height is same as AC unit. Have not had an opportunity to test it because snow in the Rockies forced cancellation of an RV trip. The RV shop that put it on swears by it. You can see a Youtube at following:

I have the King Jack antenna.  I'm debating whether I want to do the full replacement or the add-ons to the Rayzar the King Jack replacement head that goes on the end of the crank up mount, and the UHF add-on for HDTV.
I also very much would prefer not having to crank the antenna down when hitting the road.  It's inevitable that I'll forget to stow it eventually.

Did you need the optional retrofit mount plate for the full King Jack replacement?
