Our New Graphics
« on: April 26, 2019, 08:25:48 pm »
We've been looking for ways to update the look of our 2004 2350.  The thing we thought gave away its age was the condition of the factory graphics.  They were faded and worn away to the point that in some places they were worn off completely.

Here's the before and after photos:

Who made the reproduction graphics?

Thanks CalCruiser. Graphics were done by a local company right here in Crossville, TN. Outlaw Graphics. He took photos and measurements and loaded them into his software to design the graphics using generally the original shapes to hide any ghosting.

TNCanuck,

Do you live in Crossville?  I live in Crossville and recently had a GTG with another PC owner who lives in Crossville.

Time for a Crossville mini-rally! Get together, take pics, share here or on travel club FaceBook page or both. Four PC couples met up at Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa AZ a bit back. It was awesome! (Both the venue and the company) I'm told pic is on the FaceBook page.

If you book into a campground to meet, post the where and when and you might get more even people rolling in to meet and visit. (You might also get people interested in touring your rig - many lurk on the forum before buying... I did).

John, Holly, and sometimes Chloe.

I've got a 2005 2350 with the identical original graphic pattern that you have. And have the same problem of chipping and scratches on the graphics. If you don't mind could you give me an idea of how much it cost you. I don't need the bottom panel done. I've already repainted that. And I stripped off the PHOENIX CRUISER" off the front cap and buffed off all the ghosting. I just need the middle and upper graphics.

I live in Evansville, Indiana which is about 4 hours from Crossville. I have local people who could do it, but I'd rather have someone who has already done a PC.

The cost of the graphics was $500 plus tax. That included all the stripes, both the upper one along the roofline and the one mid body, and the swooshes. Installation included. The Phoenix Cruiser logo on the front cap was something I did on my own. I bought it online at diylettering.com and installed it myself. The old one was so badly deteriorated that it came off like powder!

I have not had to paint the lower body portion yet and really only the fender flares look bad. The rest will polish up just fine.

The shop here will still have the pattern for mine on his computer. You would just have to tell him what colors you want.

Wow - what a difference.  Great improvement with not a lot of $$$$$ - at least not as much as a new paint would have been

Interesting conversation, as my wife and I are looking to buy a PC in the near future and we are investigating a move to the Crossville area. We actually have a trip planned in June to visit the area.

Ron,
We will be on the road in June, so sorry we won’t be around to meet you.  We live in a condo development that is very RV friendly. There’s parking for RVs at the back of the property with the option to build a RV garage back there. The condos are beautiful and very well constructed. All brick, hardwood, granite, etc in a gated community. There’s a couple of resales on the market right now, 2 new units, and 14 more units to be built. We love it here!
