I am also getting the same message.  Got it again when I replied this message.

I got it too.  It helped when I ran the free version of ccleaner.

I just got it also, as I eas setting up my new computer. Talking about confusing things. Trying to learn a new OS and running across a glitch like this. Whoah!
Jack is what we call our PC 2351D, and he has taken us from campers to RV'ers and loving it. We're no longer Team Bob. Just Jack the RV!

Got a note from Phoenix this morning, all is fixed and should be working now.  If not let them know.

To echo the advice of Herr Dittmer, if you are using Windows hardware you should install Ccleaner as well as Spybot S&D, and run these programs on a regular basis.  Both applications will not interfere with your anti-virus program.

I installed a linux OS on the geriatric -- but serviceable -- laptop we carry in the RV.  Which provides an additional layer of security.  Linux being not as popular a target for those distributing malware.

Working at Motorola all my adult life, my final years there we used the free version of ccleaner a lot and it did well in fixing performance issues and strange happenings.

CLICK HERE to get to ccleaner.
Just keep clicking on the "Free" version, not the better "free trial" version, or the best "pay for" version.

The straight-up "free" version addresses the most common stuff we all deal with.

I won't go deeper into the one-time setup when using ccleaner unless asked for recommendations.

This was simply a matter of Phoenix (or their web hosting service) not renewing their security certificate (key).  Without that key, your browser can't be sure the site is who they say they are.  That key costs money since the root certificate holder provides a service.

It is only used on secure (https://) URLs but pretty much all sites now only provide https connections.

The fact that your browser gave you the warning means YOUR web browser Is secure and doing its job.

No anti-virus or Anti-Malware programs is needed to get the warning.  CCleaner, is not needed to provide the warning.

I am not saying don't use CCleaner, that's up to each individual.   I am just saying it does nothing for this particular issue.

I agree.  Ccleaner did nothing for the issues this forum had.  But it helps my computer in-general.
