Dawn,

When we ordered our PC we had them make it.  It has a flip-top door that can be used as a small table.  Our driver’s seat turns so we can use the small table for snacks, or drinks, or even a laptop.

Those recliners are beautiful. If Mrs V sees them... do you have a link? I did not find any RV seats on their site.  :help

And i had not noticed the cabinet. I have been lost on what to do with the space, and that is very nice.

Was the rotating drivers seat a factory option? I would gladly give up the power base for rotating...

Here is the link to the img comfort recliner that we purchased.  It is actually a 2 seater.  They are not made specifically for RVs but after talking with the US rep they are used in many buses and touring vehicles.  We worked with the company to verify all the specs, they sent pictures with actual measurements and weight.  They came shipped in pieces so it was easy to get the seat in the motorhome, install it, and then put the backs on.  The arms came apart easily so we could stain the wood to match the cherry we have in the RV.  Once we decided what would work we went to a local furniture store that carried them, tried them out for comfort, and then placed our order.

As far as the rotating drivers seat, in our 2008 we had a power seat and always wished it would rotate.  When we ordered the 2012, PC said they had never done a rotating driver’s seat but we were willing to take the risk.  It turns just as easily as the passenger seat and rotates completely around.  It gives us that 4th seating position that we always missed in the 2008.

Barry, I recall you have a picture somewhere on this forum with the two front seats rotated.  If you can find it, that would be great for the curious.

How well does the driver seat recline with the steering wheel behind it?  Does the swivel pedestal slide rearward enough?

Here is a picture of the two captains chairs swiveled into the living area.  The drivers seat can be reclined about 75% without interfering with the steering wheel.  Normally we use them for company or when we are reading so they mostly stay in a somewhat upright position.

The blocked tv view is an issue for us as well with the 2910. What are the best options for the cantilevered setup. Where should I purchase one and is there any downside to it. One of us has to sit at the dining table to see the tv. Thanks Rick

Rick,

This is the link to the original message where we posted about installing the swivel mount for our TV.  It has a link to the mount that we used.  It still works flawlessly for us.  Just make sure your tv is compatible with the mount.  We had purchased our own tv and ordered our unit without one, thus our tv is a Visio.

Nice job on your tv. It looks like the mount is held by two screws. Is that true? Is that why you added the shelf to hold the tv in place better? I seen the same mount at Campers World. It had two mount so one could move the tv. It suggested to remove the tv during travel and reinstall at destination.  This may be an option, although a little of a pain, if one doesn’t want to install shelf and secure hangers.

I may get around to this in the spring.

The mount is held in place by two screws but I would not use them to remove the TV.  There are a couple of pivot points on the mount that would be easier to use to remove the TV.  The issue I had with removing the TV was that the power cable was not detachable and could become a pain.  As far as the shelf is concerned let me quote a TV personality, "If it is worth doing it is worth over doing."  With the self I do not have to worry that the TV will move during travel.

I also installed the TV in out 2008 2350 without a shelf and there was some flexing of the TV housing during travel.  I had to use padding to keep the TV vertical on rough roads.
