How to Manually Retract Wall Slide

Yes, this topic has been discussed...but I am still confused. It is a Lippert Compnebts slide. I have looked through the owners manual and is does talk about how to override and disengage the controllers, but nothing on how to crank it in. Their web site however does talk about two ways to do this...1) using a crank from the outside through an access hole on the bottom of the slide, and 2) from access outside underneath using a 5/8" socket.
I do not see an access hole, or access underneath, or any sort of crank handle on board the coach.  Help...

I am pretty sure that for 2018 models they changed the kind of slide out they used.

On my 2015...the crank was stored in the rear compartment along with the jack and shoreline.   The access hole for the crank is (on mine) lower left of the outside of the slide, covered with a round black rubber molding...about 1 1/2" in diameter.

Changed for 2017, at least mine has the new slide.  But I've no idea how to operate it manually.  Would definitely be a good thing to know.

Would actually be a great idea for a video on the Phoenix site.  For both styles of slides.

On my 2018, they told me at the factory. unhook the electric plugs, I think that's what they said, that will release the brake, find 5 or 6 able bodied campers and push on the slide until it goes in. No tools required, might need a 6 pack of beer to reward the helpers.

So you also remove the interior trim to access the motor from the inside.  I wonder afterward, how is the slide-out supposed to stay inside the rig while driving?  Reassemble it?  The older cranking corkscrew was very simple by comparison.  I suppose there are trade-offs between the two designs.

Phoenix accidentally included a crank with our no-slide PC.  I wonder what I did with it.  Maybe it's in my RV parts cabinet.
