Exstarlifter, thanks for the reply.  What model of Pioneer radio do you have I installed?  Its good news that the cam works with that radio, I just hope the cam is the same as installed in 2015.  I will call Dave at factory Monday for that info.  I plan to use the Pioneer AVH 201EX, no nav.  Thanks, Larry

To follow up this thread with the resolution;  I purchased a Pioneer radio from best buy for the free install.  Upon installation, the rear view camera would not work and the tech geek suggested that the camera might be bad as well.  Upon arrival at home I discovered the microphone for the blue tooth was not operative either.  (This turned out to be a blessing in disguise).  I contacted Dave at the factory and he was kind enough to have one of their techs contact me re: the rear view cam.  He explained that the radios previously installed by Phoenix had the ground for the camera built in and by grounding the camera coaxial cable when installing with Pioneer radio it should operate as intended.  I advised the best buy geek of this information and made an appointment for the fix of blue tooth microphone (it was a bad mic).   Today a new Mic was installed and the rearview cam coax was grounded and all is well.  Thank you to all who responded and especially Dave and THE PC tech who put me on the right track.  Customer service was excellent.
