I picked up my 2910T June 28 2017, we paid for the full body paint option. Since getting it home we've noticed how poor the quality of the paint job is. We've already had to take it in to a local shop (in southern CA) for repairs. I now see others issues with the paint and how it's chipping, runs in the paint, wear on the corners already from a very light weight cover. Just very disappointed. Wondering if others are having similar issues.

I have had a few chips on the outside compartment doors, both rear and passenger-rear.  But the paint on the rig itself looks great, no issues.

11 years with our full body paint so far.  I see slight paint fracturing where it covers over caulk at the seam work, assumed from caulk flexing or caulk shrinkage.  Most people would never notice it.  No paint runs found and no chipping yet.  Our rig does spend it's unused time in our garage which surely keeps the paintwork in better shape.  Our rig has around 35,000 miles driven.  We are still very happy with the paint job after all these years.

As far as paint over-spray, we are apparently lucky in that regards.  Over-spray was very minimal in places that don't matter.  RV paint jobs are not like automobiles where the paint is applied before assembly.  RV paint jobs are done after final assembly and after caulking.  It's naturally going to be less impressive.  But I do feel for you with runs in the paint.  That must be a hard pill to swallow.....and the chipping too.

I do read now and then on other RV forums that any RV cover covering any RV, does damage to any paintwork via abrasion from the wind.  That is not a PC problem alone.

After owning a paint-free 100% gel coat fiberglass motor home for 24 years and all the hassle it was to keep it looking half-way decent, the decision to get the full body paint job on our PC happened to be the right decision for us......so far anyway.
