Florida meet-up

I have reservations at Silver springs State Park  campground for June 11, 12 and 13.  I am not trying to interfere with ROO's attempt at a PC gathering.  It will be difficult to get a group together when the snowbirds begin to arrive.  I do appreciate our nothern neighbors reluctance to endure the Florida summers.  There are several sites available at the above campground but they appear to be filling fast.  If anyone would like to meet up, we could make it a mini gathering.  Anyone interested can send me a private message and I can provide the site, loop etc.

Am looking forward to meeting with my new PC owners but we will be leaving Fl in May. Ironically we live real close to SSprings St park. I hope we can make the next one.

Disup, sorry you can't make the meet-up.  I had planned this trip anyway and thought others may want to meet there.  Currently there will be two cruisers there and the more the merrier.  ROO is continuing his efforts to arrange a more organized gathering as well.  Just as side note, we miss you snowbirds when you leave.  Do you reside in your cruiser during your stay in florida?    Larry

Rats!  we will have to miss this one. Son is getting married. Silver Spring State Park is a great place to camp, we stayed there earlier this year and plan on returning on our next trip further south.

Sounds great and would be interested but I am booked for a cruise that week.  Lots of luck and maybe next trip.

Hope it all works out with the weather developing. We bailed last week from the Ft Lauderdale and St Pete areas and headed home because of rain and flooding and now they are getting hit again. Maybe that far inland there won't be much effect.

Five phoenix cruisers in attendance, thanks to to Steve and Elaine ((time aweigh) for their hospitality.  Nice park, looking forward to the camaraderie over next couple days.

I don't think our Florida meet up could have been more fun or successful. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and feel like we now have 8 new friends. I'm sure we were the last to get home arriving about 7:30 eastern time. Lots of rain once we hit Chiefland and traffic standstill in Pensacola. Thanks everyone for the fun time!  heartshower

Thanks to all in attendance, we had a great time.  Sharing ideas regarding our Pc's and travel resulted in me planning a couple improvements.  Meeting new people along with their pups and cats, establishing new friendships is what its all about.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone again.  Just as a side note......gonna have Gail practice backing up a trailer this weekend roflol

I have pictures! Thanks Larry for posting the initial camping dates, it was a great time! We had 5 PCs in the same loop at Silver Springs State Park near Ocala, FL. Yeah, it was warm during the day yet the evenings were pleasant to sit and enjoy each other's company. Attached (I hope) are pics of Swiftboot, Roo, Thomas4854 and Time Aweigh. Unfortunately Steve & Martha had to leave a day early so I do not have a pic of their PC.

Looking forward to doing it again in October on Roo's dates!

ps I fixed the water leak. The city water inlet to the four way valve was dripping even when using a pressure reducer. Took off the short connecting line between the garden hose inlet and the four way valve, cleaned off the plumber's putty, applied Tplus2 sealant, and became drip-free!

pps Thanks to PC for the upgraded gaskets around the slide-out. We drove through several frog-strangling thunderstorms on the way home and stayed dry. Thomas4854 was about an hour behind us in their 2017 2552 and did not fare as well.
