This sounds like a great idea to me also.  An opportunity to share ideas and problems with those of common interests.  There are many fairgrounds, both county and state, that have accommodations for RV's that are generally available during non-fair times.  Just a thought.

Add me to the list I am a newbie. Would enjoy meeting some of my Fl PC owners. What type of time frame are you thinking about? I think many of us leave Fl by June 1 to escape Fl summer. I am also willing to help with prep work if you give a time frame for members response. Let me know.

Back in May, Swiftboot posted he would be at Silver Springs FL for a couple of days if anyone was interested. We ended up with 5 local PC buggies in the same loop because the date happened to work. Roo was there and we talked about a place in the fall. We had a great time and look forward to seeing each other later this year. My point is to keep it simple!

Bckash, pick a date and a place then throw it on the forum. Enjoy your time away and if others can join, great!

Ron, if you are going to be in Branson, share it and maybe some others can be there.

For those PC Forum Members who are interested in attending The Gathering please read the note below I sent to the original members who expressed interest in The Gathering. Please send me an email if you made a reservation so I can keep a nose count of attendees.

I have made arrangements for The Gathering to take place at the Lake Oklawaha/Fort McCoy KOA in Fort McCoy, Florida.

When:    Tuesday, October 9th through Thursday, October 11th  2018

Fees:      10 or more coaches - $27.00 a night

You can make reservations for your campsite now online via their website or phone.
I suggest you make reservations as soon as your travel plans are firmed up. This is a large campground and early registration will ensure we all have campsites.

IMPORTANT:   When registering indicate you are a member of the PC TRAVELERS group
so we are parked together.


Reservations require one night deposit at the regular fee of $30.00. If we get 10 or more coaches the fee will be adjusted when checking in.


Please send me an email after you have a reservation so I can keep a tally of attendees and keep you informed.

If coming from the North using I75 Please call our office for directions, or just remember to stay straight on Hwy 19 until you come into Salt Springs.
From Hwy 19 you will turn onto Co. Rd. 316 until you see our KOA Sign. Once you turn Right at the KOA sign we are 11 miles down the road on the left.
If you Do Not stay on Hwy 19 until you come into Salt Springs your GPS will try to take you down a dirt road. 352-546-5500

This is an interesting idea indeed. Some days I am incognito as Henry J  but that was my first car and otherwise I am Patricia.... and now that life has tossed me a curve I need the road time to get my skill level at all sides of the RV up to par... I've driven all over but never had my sewer operation training. At least I am willing. Will look forward to a PC gathering indeed. P

The How-To video section of the PC website has several tutorials on using the sanicon system if you have not watched them yet. Nitrile gloves (box of 200 at Sam's) are handy for one-time use at the dump station.

To Steve, since you directed your remarks to me... thanks for the info. I have watched the video's but having not been in charge of the process I have to get my practice underway. The Hospice nurses left a box of gloves so I am equipped sadly. and I am thinking about opening the door and seeing what I can learn hands on soon. Since the
PC is in front of my garage till the powers that B send me a nasty gram soon. I've been the hands on driver fro 10 years so getting where I am going is not a question. Everyone seems very helpful. And on some facets know a great deal it seems. Thanks, P / Henryj

P S did not get through by phone so i went online and made reservations for oct. And i did add a message in special requests box to show we, me and Miss Elle were traveling with you all. So hope we get on the tally sheet. She will not  be joining us for dinner although she would like to. She is not a picky eater, if you will eat it so will she. P
