PC Weight Label
« on: October 07, 2017, 12:57:13 pm »
I own a 2014 PC 2910T and trying to find the manufacturer's weight label in the coach?  Anyone know where PC puts this label?

On our 2007 PC2350, the weight sticker used to be on the inside of the lower-right galley cabinet door but I moved it to the inside of a cabinet door above the sink because I reconfigured the lower cabinet to bigger drawers.  This is the sticker.

Ah yes!  There is another sticker located in the driver's side door jamb.  Actually many other stickers.

Thanks to all for the replies.  The photo of the Motorhome Weight Information sticker is what I have been looking for since this is what I have always seen in my other motorhomes.  Looked in all of these locations and no stickers.  Sent an email to Earl with my VIN so maybe he can provide a copy of the weight sticker.

The thin, yellow strip on the passenger door jam is the only thing "specific" to the CCC of the 2910T.  I assumed federal laws required a more informative weight sticker to be posted but will have to live with the cryptic, scant info on this yellow sticker.  It claims the CCC is 2,016 lbs and then states that the weight of water, occupants, possessions and hitch weight must be considered as CCC but says nothing regarding gasoline and LP weights. Sure wish Phoenix USA had declared the dry weight of the coach.  Will head to the CAT scales with full LP tank, fuel, 10 gallons of water, all other fluids and possessions to confirm I'm not exceeding the coach's 14,600 lbs GVW. Nor exceeding the rear axle rating of 9,600 lbs or the front axle rating of 5,000 lbs.  Thanks again to all for your input.

Please post your weights. Pay attention to drivers side rear weight.

Thanks

We used the CAT scales with our class A to get several different weights to see how the coach sat, left to right, on each axle, and in total. It gave us a real good idea (with a normal load) where the weight was. It's worth the minimal cost to have this information. We plan to do the same with the PC. Good choice to do it!  2o2

Here our 2007 E350 chassis,  PC2350 was loaded up carrying the most ever on a trip.  Combined axle weight was okay, but the distribution of weight exceeded the rating of the rear axle by a small amount.

I hate to say it but I think you are going to be surprised and not pleasantly so, The Cat's will tell the story.

What are the numbers on your 3100? Was your fuel tank full and did you have anything in your holding tanks when you got your coach weighed? Thanks.

Axel weights can conceal overweight situations.  Corner weights tell you the real story of how your coach was built.  We were shocked when we first found out about our corner weights.

That's what we are planning to do.

Telecom....my 3100 fully loaded was within 900lbs of max.  I like a little more safety zone, the front was very close to max as I recall.  Best of luck.
