WeatherTech Liners or Mats
« on: October 05, 2017, 02:28:40 pm »
We use WeatherTech Floor Liners in all our vehicles. So, in anticipation of ordering our 3100 next spring, we looked up the E450 on their website to see whether the liners or mats were available. We didn't see either as available, so we emailed WeatherTech. Here's their response (we specifically said for the Ford E450 chassis):

"Unfortunately, we do not manufacture any products for RV’s or motorhomes. We cannot guarantee the fit of our products to your model since we do not test fit to that application. Some manufactures may make changes to the floor."

I see some of you have gotten the WeatherTech mats, from discussions here a few years back.

Has anyone gotten WeatherTech liners or mats for their more current PC's?

Suggestions?

Husky makes a similar product.   Not quite as nice but same fit.

I too bought nice tan-ish colored matching OEM Ford Econoline carpeted floor mats off Ebay real cheap including shipping.  They are nice driving with my shoes off.

The catalogues may not list any applications beyond 2014 because Ford discontinued the E- series vans but continues to produce the  commercial E350SD and E450 cutaway chassis.

I have a one piece Lloyd Rubbertight mat that I ordered for an Econoline   E350 Club Wagon with storage console. It fits well, looks nice , traps water, and is easy to remove and rinse off.

Great info, thanks everyone. We have great options to consider now.  2o2
The new PC's come with carpeted mats (I saw them in a bag when we drove the 2018 3100). So, we will have those at a minimum. We always do something more, because there's usually something out there that gives more coverage/protection.

So, it sounds like PC doesn't change the floor configuration (from the time the chassis is complete to the time the PC is complete), would that be correct to assume?

Nice discussion. I looked for mats a year ago when we bought our PC and never settled on anything. Today I ordered the Econoline front mats which look like they should fit perfectly. The year listed is 2013 so I will find out shortly if this works. Our carpet is gray so that is what I ordered. the weather tech item no is W51GR and the price was  $54.95 plus shipping which still brought it less than most I saw on other sites. We have their mats in several vehicles and they are so good this will be a happy camper add on indeed.  Love all the info folks. thanks. Patricia
Had a message that the mats shipped today by Fedex. BTW I ordered directly FR Weather tech site. We are going out of town on 17th so I wanted before any trip. Del should be Mon or Tues. P    Sunday update... they made it to Ocala from Illinois and had to pass through Chicago but seemed to keep moving. Will report when they arrive and are tried . Regards.P

Mats arrived while we were at the dr getting Jim checked out from his terrible fall on Monday afternoon. He did a crash landing on concrete floor and did a lot of damage to R arm.. Like a lot of men he refused the Dr visit... And we are due to go away next tues. well today he changed his mind and I was able to get him in at noon so off we went. Seems I have re-skilled and been an adequate nurse. Tuesday I am the driver again...The mats look good and tomorrow when I begin my refill in freezer/refrig  and reload I will try the new mats...They sure are difficult to remove from the plastic hanging apparatus but I don't just give up.

UPDATE.   Mats installed. They fit well... And only cover 1 level so the side areas that are a different level are not included. THey are a big improvement  and will save the carpeted floor.
Jim is doing better today. Will soon be bandage change time. And I am "nurse" Patricia then. I am a fake nurse. Price is right however. Patricia

I think this is what I am looking for my 2017 E-450SD.  Assume consoles are same size and shape.  Is the cutaway the same as Econoline cab layout?  I really want to cover the area between seats.

I know you are seeking floormats for dirt protection, but for those who want original Ford carpeted mats that match their Ford interior, you can buy them on line, Ebay being one of them.  HERE is one example.  Many years ago I bought a set like these for our 2007 PC.  They work well for our particular traveling style.

I recall spending a lot less, like around $30 with shipping included.  Just keep a watch for them as they come up for sale.

CalCruiser: really interested in the one piece Lloyd Rubbertight mat that you ordered for a E350SD with storage console. I can't seem to find any info on their site, where'd you order them from? DW really wants more console space.

thanks
