We had a "bean bag" type mount for the Garmin GPS which is used in my pickup truck. When I moved it over to the PC I quickly found it difficult to reach from the drivers seat and it seemed to slide around excessively.
I had seen on this forum another way of mounting using the coin tray dash opening. While it looked very well made it was a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay at the time.
Alternately I found this mount.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M030LIO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1While it did not appear as rugged and well made as the other mount mentioned above the price was right ($10.50) so I decided to give it a try. It mounts in the CD slot which I never play CDs. I have had it in service for 4 trips (about 1200 miles). My 6" Garmin unit seems to be reasonably secure and so far I am satisfied with it as it makes access so much better than my bean bag mount.
While I would not characterize this as a high quality option it may satisfy others need as it has us for an another mounting option at a reasonable price.
