For those of you with 2551/2 models with the solid sliding doors. Where did you place the TP holder and towel racks.  Has anyone actually mounted them to the sliding doors. How dI'd that work out ??. Any other ideas. I already thought about nails in the walls but DW said NOOO.

We have a 2551.  I bought two of these towel bars https://www.amazon.com/InterDesign-Self-Adhesive-Holder-Bathroom-Kitchen/dp/B001I024IC/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1501969966&sr=8-12&keywords=self+stick+towel+bar for the bath towels.  We put them on with 3m outdoor heavy duty two sided tape on the shower door.  Works great.  In five years we have only had to retape them once and we spend a minimum of 4 months a year in the RV.  There are now many self stick towel bars on Amazon that weren't available in the past.  Or, you could by any towel bar and add tape.

We made our own toilet paper holder and put it up the same way.  Again, only had to retape once and that was a few weeks ago after five years.  No damage to the wall or door when removing the tape.

Here are pictures of the toilet paper holder:

We attached ours to the door.  Convenient and simple to do with wallboard expansion screws.

Bobby mounted our towel bars to the door. One up high the other in the middle. I mounted the toilet paper holder bar on the right most side of the door. When I close the door it slides right in front of me.

Who ever owns our PC after us will get the bars already mounted, just like most RVs come from the factory.

I don't have pics on hand but we followed Tom Hanlon's suggestion and had Phoenix mount two towel bars and the TP holder to our sliding door. We supplied them to Phoenix prior to the completion of the build. They can also install them at pick up if you let them know you're bringing them in. The TP holder bit the dust because I bought one that allowed one side to swing up to change out the paper. Very cute but in hindsight, extra moving parts are not good in an RV. Our towel bars are still holding fine. Our TP holder is now the handle of our toilet brush. We have a little white one that looks like a tall cup. A ring on the brush makes a lid on the cup so the brush is hidden. When our TP holder first broke we used the toilet brush as a temporary holder and decided it works great so it became permanent. When traveling the cup with TP on the post/handle rides behind the hose for our optional toilet sprayer (also installed by Phoenix at time of purchase). The hose coil holds it against the back wall so it doesn't roll around and the TP is a little out of the way but still accessible. When in camp, we set it right in that front corner where Barry-Sue have their TP holder mounted.

Barry-Sue, are your towel bars stuck to the bubbly glass or do you have smooth glass on the outside of the shower? I'm determined to get our toothbrush holder to STAY UP but the bubbly glass has dropped everything I put on it (suction cups, command strips).

Holly,

We have the smooth side on the outside of the shower door and bubbly on the small glass wall next to it.  The towel bars are on the smooth portion.  Try the 3m outdoor heavy duty tape I think it would stick to the bubbly portion as well.

I put 2 plastic hooks with 3M removable tape and used a shash curtain rod  to hang my towel. I put one on top of the sliding door and one lower just underneath where the towel hangs.  It has work out great inside the bathroom door.  I have used these types of plastic hooks with the 3M tapes for other needs.  Can get them anywhere like Walmart. Hooks come in different sizes for different purposes.

Back of sliding door and below wardrobe, also 2 other customizations:

I don't know if the  bathroom door is solid core but it has a frame around it for screwing in the hooks.  We don't use a bar.
Earl told us to use small screws with a dab of silicone for the t.p. holder.
The towel holder on the kitchen cabinet is a drawer pull screwed in from the back of the door.  Should it need to be removed, the holes could be filled with wood filler.  We also put one on the side of the bathroom sink for a handtowel.  The over the door hooks were not good on those doors.

The coat rack is screwed in through the leather to the side of the cabinet.  It gets a lot of use, jackets, leashes and lanyards etc.

We consider these things to be permanent, thus a strong attachment to the walls.  For other things we use Command strips.

We use a TP holder like this over the vanity door with the paper facing/stored inside the vanity: https://www.amazon.com/Over-Tank-Toilet-Paper-Holder/dp/B00KUSO6RK. We also use 3M Command hooks inside the shower - four hooks - one high/one low on either side of the shower faucets. We hang a hand towel over the top of the shower adjacent to the sink for drying hands. I really like the idea of mounting towel racks on the door now that I see it!
