Saying farewell
« on: July 27, 2017, 11:26:56 am »
Selling our 2010 2350 on RVT.com.  We love our PC but just can't work up the enthusiasm to get on the highway and fight the traffic to make those long drives!  We've seen so many beautiful places over the years, but are tired of driving.  Hoping to sell the PC so we can put a tiny house at Lake Lure NC.  I have enjoyed reading all the helpful, interesting and occasionally humorous posts these last couple of years on the forum. If we can't sell our PC, then we will just hang on to her and make another trek next spring.  Once we get across the Mississippi, driving is more fun.  If anyone is looking for a good little PC, check it out!  Not many out there and it only has 25k miles.  So this is not really goodbye... I'll be watching you!   heartshower

I totally get the tired of driving thing. I've been commuting 65,000 miles a year and it gets old.

But your not done with adventure, just moving on to a new one. On that Note Congratulations!

We can certainly empathize with your feelings.  If you do have to keep your PC for a while, perhaps the 2-2-2 travel method might ease the pain.  We have used it all through our fulltiming years; and, with a few exceptions dictated by events, we have continued using the 2-2-2 into our sometimer years.  On any given travel day, we try to travel no more than 200 miles (+/- 25), arrive by 2:00pm, and stay no fewer than 2 days to rest and see the sights.  Of course, the last "2" doesn't apply if the stop is just to break up a longer trip to a planned destination; but we do try to apply the first two "2s".  It works for us who are getting on in years (I'm pushing 74 kinda hard ;) )  Good luck in whatever happens.  :)(:

Sad to see you check out of the rolling hotel. I am 76 and do all the driving. Mr is 85  and is the chief of the sewer and loves the macerator. Had one on the class A too... I plan the driving so hope to miss the rush hour traffic and am now in Alabama on way home from our visit to Phoenixc. We delighted with the fixes and additions we were able to get there. Bobby and Doug worked very hard to make our stay brief and did a magnificent job. We go home happy as can be. I HAVE RE SORTED the things we carry and am now better at having what I need on hand. We wish you well wiith your selected home location is very nice.
and if we can offer any info further when the wheels are gone do say hello's  again.
Patricia and Jim on the road with 800 miles to go.

Well wishes to you BuffaloRose!  Thank you for your participation here on the PC forum.  I hope you sell your 2010-2350 quickly.  If I hear of anyone looking for a recent 2350, I will surely send them your way.
