We have endured the Diamond Shield fiasco on 2 Class A. RV's. Mr talked to the company on at least one occassion and the material seems to last till the warranty evaporates.  We were trading in our last Class A and Mr decided to "remove' the diamond shield in prep for a repainting by an expert. Well what a job. He used Sherwin Williams  Xylol to assist in the removal. He has all kinds of tools and he needed some nice flat ones for this. It took a while too. He worked on it nearly every day . And he is a fussy worker so it came out nicely and the paint people were pleased not to have that job. We opted out this go round.
Maybe drive slower and the bugs will wash easier and no plastic coating needed.
