Phoenix Cruise Build Status
« on: October 18, 2016, 01:50:02 pm »
This is our first post to the Forum. First, thanks for all the posts from everyone. We have learned so much from this group!

On October 3, we ordered a 2351 Phoenix Cruiser and we are wondering what is the normal communication on the status of a PC as it is being built?

We don’t want to cause any extra work on PC staff, but sure would like to know about progress of our PC build.

Thanks
Linda and Dave

We ordered our 2351 at the Hershey show last year. Earl told us we would have it before they closed down for Christmas. I called and spoke to Kyle about the first of December who confirmed we would get it before they closed.  He told us to call in a week which we did and were told to be at the factory early on 12/14/15, spent most of the morning going over the unit and headed home to PA in our new unit.  2o2

I suspect it depends on which unit you order and how many outside vendors have to be dealt with to determine where it is  in the line. We did not have an easy time of it on our 2910 T .  we asked for several alterations to the initial plan, extra fan and air conditioning, electric plugs which are very nice to have. The outside light on drivers side should have been on a solid wall and not over a window. That install means the plan to have awnings installed is cancelled since the light was installed on top edge of the window for some odd reason.   We did get  a non electric sofa which has a drawer and is a big  improvement. With storage space  on the short side after being in a class A  any added storage space is a big help in making the adjustment.
Good luck .
Patricia. On the road now.

Hi Linda and Dave,

I would imagine an occasional email to Earl would be the easiest way to get a status.  Be sure to include your work order in all your communication.  Make it part of your signature when emailing Phoenix.  Keep in-mind that it is taking roughly 3 months from start to finish, adding 3 additional weeks if you ordered full body paint.  Your opportunity to make floor plan changes closes quickly for the interior walls go up soon after the deck is finished.  Changes to the finishing touches are naturally less time sensitive.

It's an exiting time.  Enjoy it.
