Waiting on 2100 floorplans from Kyle so I can start sketching out. Can someone with a 2100 give me two depth measurements -- fridge and wardrobe cabinet? I would like to put the dinette-sized daybed behind the driver's seat, because sewing tables swing out to the left. Thanks, and I appreciate the help!

I will be happy to take the measurements the next time we visit ours.  We keep it in a secured storage facility about 2 miles from us.  Maybe Kyle can  supply that measurement sooner.   Glad to hear you are progressing with your layout drawing.

Still waiting on the layout from Kyle. While I am, does anyone with a 2100-style slide know if 54" is the actual width of the slide? The sofa looks pretty flush against it, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

 The sofa is a little narrower than the slide itself.   We will measure the width of both the slide and the sofa next visit.   Hope you receive the layout from PC soon.

Thanks, Gail! I'm eyeing a J-style sofa with slideout now, because most times when I lie on the sofa at home, it's lengthwise on one side of the room facing the sofa, so I'd probably get the most use out of that:

I like that, especially if you delete the lower arm so you can use the whole length as the sofa. I only use about 48" of my sofa when I'm lounging (I measured) so 54" would be decent. (And I wonder how hard it would be to include some velcro tabs and a little ottoman to make a little extra length in the jackknife.

A quick drawing (not to scale or proportion!) to illustrate. Blue is the J-lounge (no-bump model) in the slide, red is the jackknife, yellow is the ottoman, and they would all be flush together.

The slide width opening is 55".   The space between the edge of the sofa and the side wall is 1 1/2 inches on both sides.

Also checked the valances for you.   They are firm probably plywood and are not foam.  The only foam might be a thin layer on the fronts only.   The backs are also covered very neatly so can't really see the base material.   PC factory will be able to tell you what they use for the valances and also whether they can install that type of sofa.

We had a Villa brand sofa made for our 2012 2551 by a company called Bradd and Hall.  They are in Elkhart. We actually purchased the material from PC, gave it to Bradd and Hall and they made the sofa to our specifications.  Once made they installed it for us.  We were very pleased with their service.  Ours was a jack knife sofa.  We have had it for four years now and it is still in great shape with many, many hours of use.

Beautiful sofa, Sue. Is it electric or manual open?

Kate, the 2100 slide couch has a portion of the wheel well up under the sofa. Also, there is the mechanism for the electric open/close operation.
I believe the wheel well would be under a portion of the couch in the no-slide as well.

Our sofa is a manual open.  The seat lifts up and everything glides into place!

Kate, should join FB closed group "Phoenix Cruiser" for more info and discussion.  We're traveling all summer in our stretched and modified 2400.  We're very comfortable but agree a shorter rv may be better for me who does all the driving.  We opted for twin beds no slide and love it.  We'll be driving thru northern Lake Champlain area early August on way to Thousand Islands area.
