Wondering about the Winegard RFL-332 SensarPro TV Signal Strength Meter.  Has anyone replaced the standard wall plate power supply with this?  Is the only advantage help with finding stations, or does it also additionally boost the signal?  Was the spacer required to fit?  Is it worth $60?  Thanks.

I remember very few of the things that I’ve spent money to buy, but I remember all of the places that I’ve spent money to see.

I put one in our 2350.  It helps in pointing the antenna in the best direction to get maximum signal strength for a given channel before performing a scan on your tv.   I can't say I noticed any difference in signal strength compared to our original amplifier, not sure how much gain the original amplifier had.  Below is a website with a video and some reviews that may help:

I don't recall needing the spacer for ours but I do know with all the cables and wires it was a tight fit.

Just read about the Winegard Rayzar that replaces the batwing.  Looks like a mini satellite dish, has electronics to automatically find the most stations.  Installation looks simple and fits over where the batwing was installed.  Read about it in the May edition of MotorHome.
