We saw the Nexus at the Hershey show in 2012 so it must have been right after they started in business. I can't remember much except the sales lady proudly telling me how sturdy it was and that it was the heaviest "something"at the show. I recommend checking the dry weight of the finished rig against the gross vehicle weight of the chassis. Extra storage is great only if you have the ability to safely carry the extra stuff otherwise you have very nice, but empty, bins.

Our folding camp chairs and grill fit nicely in the bin of the 2552. My big anti-gravity lounger rides in the car.

Have fun at the show
John, Holly, and sometimes Chloe.

You are right about that.  Some manufactures offer huge storage but is weight-capable deficient.  I think those rigs are ideal for a young family so the parents can haul all the kids huge light-weight plastic riding & play toys to the camp ground.....very bulky but no weight.

I have not seen a Nexus in person or on the road so cannot give a first hand review of the product,  and obviously I have a bias towards PC's.  I would want to see what Nexus uses for flooring (can not find anything on their website) I bet it is not marine plywood like PC uses?  I like the built in spare tire approach that PC uses, can not see where the spare is kept on the Nexus.  I like the built in cab step that PC uses vs's the exposed style that Nexus uses.  I like the rear bulkhead that PC offers and the lines it creates with the rear cap vs's the plain square look.  I hate all of the names Nexus utilizes for their coaches...Viper is all right for a high powered Dodge product but not and RV, nor is Ghost, etc.  While PC's may be more expensive I can personally see where the differences could come in to play and think the PC is worth the extra dollars.   best of luck.   thanks

This thread brought back a memory.  My dad was a merchant and had a store on Main Street in a county seat town.   He had a sign above his desk he told me to memorize, and I have never forgotten it.   " WE KNOW OTHERS SELL FOR LESS.   THEY KNOW WHAT THEIR STUFF IS WORTH. "

Memorizing that sign has saved me a lot of grief in the six decades since I first saw it.

Hi all,    My wife Bev and myself attended the Hershey RV show and saw both the Pheonix Cruisier and the  Nexus. Now I must admit we do plan on going with the P.C 2552 with the dinette. We did spend some time going through the Nexus models and from what I saw I was not impressed at all with the Nexus line. Both Bev and I  feel comfortable with the  PC, and Earl and his wife could have been nicer kindly answering all our questions. Thanks to all , and hopefully we will run across some on our travels, just need to get the PC first.  :) tymote hi5 hi5.  Bev and  Tim

It is very valuable to compare coaches side by side and then you do not forget even the little stuff.  Having owned 7 motor homes I can tell you PC makes a nice coach compared to the majority out there.  Best of luck with your purchase that I know you will enjoy.  ron
