Roof air not working

We've got a 2013 2350. It was parked for a little over a week. Coach batteries were dead but showed fully recharged after running the engine for about 15 minutes. I started the generator and shut off the engine, and house batteries showed one light. Meanwhile, I tried to run the roof air conditioner, and it wouldn't come on. I ran the generator for about 15 minutes, and checked the circuit breaker. Wall thermostat was set for 72, but I waited another 10 minutes or so and the air conditioner never came on. Any thoughts on this would be very much appreciated, since my mechanical abilities are, on a scale of 1-10, zero.

With the generator running try to run the microwave. If it does not run then you are not getting output from the generator. Remove the generator cover (outside) and look for a circuit breaker. It could be tripped. Then try the microwave again.
If possible plug into 30 amp and try it again.

Check the water level in your batteries.

After you try that experiment, hook up to 30 amp shore power and repeat. And it's going to take several hours to bring dead coach batteries back unless you have a very high capacity charger.

One more point of information. Prior to plugging into shore power make sure the InUse/Store switch is in the InUse position. This should allow the converter to charge the batteries.

This is remote possibility but there might be a problem with the automatic transfer switch if the shore power works but the generator does not.

Tom is right-on. This happens to me once every second or third year after taking out our rig from long term storage.

There is a reset switch/breaker right on the generator itself. Once reset, all is well for another 2-3 years. I don't know why it happens. It just does. No harm.

Thanks for all your help. I think the generator reset switch needs to be used, but I don't know where it is on the generator.

1 remove the cover by turning the two knobs 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Left cover and slide it to the right about half way.
2. look for the start switch that you just uncovered.
3 on the right side of the switch you will see another switch/breaker. flip it.

Now test your generator again.

Did everything work on electric?

I learn something new every time something goes wrong. The main thing I learn is that it is usually operator error. The roof air stopped working because the genset was overloaded because I had too many things on or plugged in. But I learned about the generator circuit breaker and that I have to be careful in what I have on. Everything seems fine now. Thank you all for your help.

By the way, I have been reading various opinions about tire valve extenders and tire monitoring systems. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions.

I am glad to hear everything is working now and that you reported back here with what it took to fix the problem.

I have used the valve extenders for about 20 years and only one time did one of the rear ones come lose. It let the air out of the tire. I caught it while gassing up so no damage was done. The motorhome had less than 1000 miles on it so I think that they had not been tighten during the install. Whenever I stop I always do a walk around looking over the motorhome and knocking on the tires. When ever I have the wheels off I ask that the extenders be checked.
I have never had tire monitoring system on a motorhome but my wife's Jeep Liberty has it. One time I ran over a road gator and it hit the valve stem and broke it off. The tire was gone before some one flagged me over. If I was to get a system for the motorhome it would have to include the toad also.

Dick,
We've been using the Pressure Pro tire monitoring system on our motorhomes and toads for about ten years and really like it.
It make it easy to quickly check the tire pressures and gives us some confidence that we won't have a tire problem on the road. We still check the pressures manually at least once a month to see that the monitoring system is still working.

By the way, you might get more responses on this if you make a new post with a more descriptive Subject line. IMHO.
