I lost one on posting too, yes we can - or not.
The rating system has probably been discussed many times, but it is aggravating when one posts a funny that leans to one side or the other of any subject that someone can sneak a disapproving position by docking the poster's "helpfuls". They do this without making a comment which seems somewhat cowardly to me.
Most of the "helpfuls" are earned by presenting a solution to a PC or RV problem. It seem disingenuous that they can be removed by someone objecting to the usual light fare that is posted "around the campfire" which generally has nothing to do with PCs.
This problem could be partially resolved by requiring the objector to post a comment showing their objection or position before being able to dock someone. I'll bet the sneaking around would be drastically reduced. Just my thoughts on the subject.
PS: Of course the simplest method would be to not make the "helpful" field available on the "Around the Campfire" forum. If someone wants to show agreement or disagreement, then all they have to do is post a comment.
