It's a tight fit. You need to slide the seat all the forward and then tip the back forward. You should be able to turn it then. After you get it turned you can tip the back to a better position. Jim

No need to open the door.
- push seat all the way forward
- place backrest as far forward as possible
- swivel seat
What I don't understand is how that will help watch TV. Wouldn't you be facing the wrong direction? For reference, here is our front seat swivelled. My wife was demonstrating how the 3rd captain seat in our 2350 works for watching TV, so just ignore that.

My wife will watch a movie in the passenger seat while we are in transit. She faces forward, lifts the armrest of the 3rd seat out of the way, pushes her front seat back as far as it goes, and reclines adequately to watch TV. You should be able to do the same. Admittedly, it's not ideal, but it does work.
