Generator won't start

Start the engine and let in run for a minute than start the generator...

Hey Guys! Sorry you had the problem, but glad you got it resolved! I bad a problem with mine as well but it was a propane situation (with the sprinter) so not the same: HOWEVER, I have now scheduled to run it at least once a month, (recommended by many) to be safe. It's one of those things that is only needed when you (we) need it.

I'm curious,,, does the manual recommend running the gen the same for propane?  I understand the reason with the gas due to varnishing in the carb etc... BTW, from everything I have read your not going to hurt the gen by running it,,, that's what they are designed for...

Yes, it's good to run it regardless - you're right on about the gasoline. My problem (I think) is I filled the propane in Yellowstone last summer, and I read somewhere that often big users get a mixture with more butane in the summer - this supposedly doesn't work as well in winter. I'm a little beyond the scope of my book in this but for whatever reason it wouldn't run/start until I had fresh fill with propane (it only took 2 gals. So it wasn't the low volume problem) .
