Things We Have Added to Our 2350 - Extra Storage

We have made some additions to our 2008 Phoenix Cruiser 2350 to make travel a little easier and would like to share them with other PC owners.  Need to login to see the attached pictures.

Extra Storage (Image Extra-Storage-1)

Cabinet in place and ready for use with slideout extended.  Cabinet built from matching wood and corian.  Top opens to provide access to storage.

Cabinet in place and ready for travel with slideout retracted.  

Removed Lounge Chair (Image Extra-Storage-3)

We deleted lounge chair when our unit was ordered and had Phoenix Cruiser install the two storage cabinets.

Thanks for sharing your ideas, with pictures.  You got me thinking.

I am curious, where did you find "exact matching" wood and Corian counter materials?  Did Phoenix USA provide them for you?  Did they make the cabinet and shelves during construction?

I found close matching pre-finished shelving at Home Depot, but yours looks better yet.  For example the shelves in your shirt closet look like they came with the RV.  My shirt closet shelf looks good, yours look perfect.

   We made the cabinet that sits behind the drivers seat.  Purchased material from phoenix cruiser.  The side cabinet next to the door (instead of the 2nd passenger seat) was made and installed by phoenix cruiser.

Hi Barry,

Do you have any problems with the driver's seat hitting the cabinet behind it?  If you check my "foot locker" post you will se how I chamfered it for clearance. That was a lot of extra work.

We have no problems with the drivers seat hitting the extra cabinet.  We have more than enough room and I am 6' so the seat is far back.

like your behind the seat cabinet you installed.  Do you remember or have posted anywhere the size of the cabinet?  I enjoy woodworking and think something like that would be useful.  Thanks

The size of the storage box is 14 1/2" D X 23 1/2" W X 22" H (including top)

I used piano hinge to attach the top and a toy box hinge so it would stay up when lookin around inside.
