Check my understanding of battery voltage status

Re my ordered 2350:  I'm planning use the two Lifeline AGM 6V batteries wired in parallel in my present RV.  Will the battery charger still see them as one battery and will I need to buy a charger specifically for 6V batteries?

I assume the Converter will still function as a 3-stage battery charger (?)

There are a lot of different aspects to what you want to do.  I would suggest you contact the factory at 574-266-2020 and discuss in detail all of your concerns.

What we did was order our 2350 without gen.  Then had another battery box mounted in its place.  Then with 300 watts of solar we dry camp for a week without running batteries below 12.4.  I consider we use a lot of watts cuz my ham radio's and TVs/DVD's take a lot.

Just another food for thought? 
BTW coffee is ether perked on stove or via coffee maker just depending on battery condition which is Dependant on old Sol.

You treat 2 6v batteries wired in series the same as a 12v battery. A 12v battery has 6 cells wired in series a 6v battery has 3 cells, so two 6v batteries wired in series have 6 cells just like a 12v.

You may ask why PC uses 6 v batteries. The batteries they use are more expensive and designed for many charge-discharge cycles. They will last longer and work better than the old 12v batteries they used a few years ago.

The truth about charging batteries is the converter charger does not put out enough voltage to fully charge your batteries. That's why a solar panel with a charge controller will get the batteries up to 100% charge.
