Checked out the site and  it is booked but I won't give up  ....  I will keep checking back for cancellations (Thanks) ..... re: correct side of tag ... I am just happy my leg will no longer be falling off the bed  roflol that can be pretty annoying, don't know where it was try to go without me all night !!  :-D
And ditto ... if you are ever in the Vero Beach area we would be happy to have ya

no fumes here either. I put a very heavy coat of polyurethane on the top of both beds and the bottom of the drivers side because it lefts up. I also put the corner guards along the edge to protect our fingers.

Just checked Franklin Locks. There is Jan. 2 available. 1 night but you never know. If you book it, someone may cancel for the 3rd.

I was a little late today going on line .... but I just called Franklin Locks and she said she only had places for boats (?) and other then that they were booked solid  :'( .

     We are going to be camping near you from 1/10/13 for two weeks.  After we leave WP Franklin we head over to the St. Lucie locks for two weeks.  I think Vero Beach is a short distance north of Stuart.  If you can't get a site there for a few days stop on by.  :)(:

PS - Just saw your post - we'll see you Jan 2.  Looking forward to it.  And I think site 22 is a nice pull thru site even though it is described as a back in.  PARTY at the WP Franklin Locks on the second of JAN.

The mattresses in our 2011 are much better than in our 2008 but still a little too firm for us. We bought Twin Down Alternative Mattress Toppers: http://www.finewebstores.com/Twin-Down-Alternative-Mattress-Topper-Approximately-5-Inches-Thick_p_26098.html#

$120 each. They are very comfortable.  Like a pillow, though, they have to “fluffed” occasionally.  And at 39 inches wide x 75 inches, they fit perfectly.

Carol,

     W P Franklin also has a walk up site that is non-reservable.  Maybe when you get there you can make arrangements for that site and then stay longer.  That early in the season there might not be anyone in the walk up site.  Could get it under Vince's Senior Pass!!!!

I will keep trying on line and then if no luck getting additional nights then we will give the other a try.

I am so excited about the senior pass that I printed up a form that I downloaded on line and filled it out and stuck it on the calendar on the refrigerator  2o2  I'm ready !!

Vince keeps telling me that we are in the high cotton this month ... he is going to be getting social security and will be eligible for the senior pass .... yep .... he's the man  !!!! roflol roflol

Can you rotate the corner bed mattress 180 degrees so the top stays on top and the gap with new foam wedge is in the back corner in pillow range? Just a thought (from my better half.)

Yes ... we rotaed the mattress and built a foam wedge so that person who gets the shaved off edge of the mattress can keep their leg on the bed at night. :)  we also flipped the mattress to find that there IS a wrong side.  One side of the mattress has harder foam then the other ... ouch  :'( :'(

We ordered a new mattress which actually arrived today from Camping World .... an inner spring mattress 8" thick and I HOPE THIS WORKS !!!!!!!!!

My back was aggrivated by the mattress and then I ended up pulling all the muscles in my lower back OUCH  :'( but we are going down in the garage tonight and sleeping in the PC on the new mattress  to see if this will solve the problem.

Follow up on the new mattress ....  heartshower WONDERFUL  heartshower..... we had taken the PC out camping twice and both times had rushed back home from sleepness nights and extreme mattress discomfort. I was almost in tears at the  thought of having to sleep in the RV ever again until Vince decided to try one more thing ... a new mattress ....  We purchased an 8" thick innerspring mattress from Camping World as a last resort. It arrived this past Monday ... so we opened her up put it on the bed and added a  1/2" memory foam to that .... and had a camp out in the garage    (exactly)  let me just say this about that  ..... I had the best nights sleep ever and when we woke up the next morning it was 8:15 AM .... we have never been able to sleep that late before .... yay !!!!!

That was the only reason we had the girl up for sale was the lack of comfort and sleep .... it is a super RV and we were both a wits end until the Camping world flyer arrived and saved the fate of "THE CAN" as we have named our 2350 ...... THANK YOU CAMPING WORLD  ((hug))

So world here we come  :)(:
