Euro Chair Questions

Someone on another forum asked me about the Euro chair and I didn't have an answer for him.

- Does the Euro chair clamp to the floor or is it free to move around?
- If clamped, is it easily unclamped to move about?
- If clamped to the floor, is it strongly held and safe to be used while in transit? Does it come with a seat belt?

Yes it is clamped to the floor. The clamp is in the back and clamps over the base of the chair. The clamp is more than strong enough to hold the chair. The screw goes into the frame of the floor. It can be easily removed to move the chair where you want it. Phoenix normal way of building things, over built.

It does not.
The clamp is a bracket that goes over the swivel base and merely holds the chair in place for travel. It must be removed when wanting to use it while stopped because it also prevents swivel. IMO, it is not robust enough for use as a 3rd seat when moving.
As for the clamp; being a pita, I removed ours and when traveling merely use a bungee cord to hold it in place against the back of the passenger seat.

No seat belt. I use a small dog collar in place of the clamp. I put the screw through the d ring and snap the collar around the base. I got this trick on here.
