I am planning on having the factory leave this blank in order to customize the storage to our needs. In speaking with Earl he mentioned in order to attach anything one needs to have factory install "backer boards". I assume an example of this would 1/2" x 6" board I saw installed today on the exterior face of compartment with 2 red hooks for cable storage screwed into it. Once I lay out the design I plan to use an adhesive like 3M 5200 a marine adhesive caulk that is very strong to the point of almost being impossible to remove. In this way I could mount various size pieces of wood to attach hooks, padeyes, etc. Liquid Nails would probably work just as well. In this way nothing would ever penetrate the original wall structure. I would very much appreciate any thoughts or experiences about this or any pitfalls I have overlooked.
Again many thanks!
Mike
