General Discussion / Re: 2023 2552 Heater Not Igniting
« on: May 28, 2025, 12:49:13 pm »
No comment on the fuse location, but confirm that you are using the correct thermostat.  The one in the front controls the furnace.  We tried several times and thought something was wrong but realized the one in the back only controls the rear AC.

Thank you. You were correct. the adjustment through the dometic in the front and the rear is only for the air condition. No big deal, just too cold mornings. LOL. Thank you. This  is a great place to come and to learn. So just to wrap up this thread, the dometic in the front, not. only controls the air condition in the front It also controls the heater in the rear. Thank you for the help

Thank you for the reply guys. that wire color is an interesting idea. I wonder if you have to have the heater for the tank on at the same time. There is a switch in the bathroom. I can try that. It is a bit cool still this morning, even here in the Carolina's. good tip on that door cover. I would not think of spending much time with the cover off. But just the same good advice. as to the thermostat I've tried every combination. What gets me about this issue is it will not even click. It does appear that no power is going to the unit itself, which led me down the road of a fuse location. Been back home dealing with other items So you know how this goes. Summers around the corner. out of sight Out of mind. But when time allows, I would love to take care of this as it's a loose end And Lord knows I've got too many of those. LOL again. Thanks guys. If I come up with something or you guys think there's something else we can close this thread out with some success I hope.  nothing bothers me more than a thread that does not end with a solution. :)

Thank you for the reply . Yes it is the one in the back. Not sure where to go from here on this issue . The thermostat does come on but that is all it does. I have done a reset 3x as directed however still nothing . Not even a click , nada :(  But I will not give up so keep the ideas coming Gents :)

Hello, seems I can not get the heater to ignite. I have tried working the thermostat as directed but the unit will not respond in any way . I would like to locate a fuse or breaker prior to removing the unit . Can someone point me to a fuse location . The one under the curb side bed does not seem to be where it is located unless I'm not reading it correctly . Thank you in advance .

Thank you for the information. Ron, Yes, one of my daughters will need to help me. I am, no doubt, an idiot when it comes to this stuff. Facebook is pretty easy, but even that was set up by one of my daughters years ago. But I do know how to put pictures on Facebook. The first thing I need to do is get this site loaded on my phone. Then. I would be able to grab the pictures, I would think. I am excited about this coach already made a couple small repairs, which is. OK, the macerator being mounted horizontally is not a good idea. I'll be working on some way to take the weight off those four plastic tabs. But what I really like is the backup of the slinky option, which I will be using this weekend on our trip as the part I ordered with the help of Phoenix cruisers will not be here till next week. I look forward to meeting everybody one day. Nothing like getting together with a bunch of folks sharing the same love :)

Pictures would help a lot.  Also, can you confirm your pump model?  We have a 2552 that is just one year older and ours is a Jabsco pump but looks similar to the Pentair.

Sure. She is the 3200- 200. It turned. it turned out that what we needed was the bayonet. 70535. The pump is good. It is the housing that screws on. It's especially part. Thank you again for the reply.

Welcome to the family. There’s a mini rally in the Wisconsin Dells starting a week from Thursday if you’re able to make it that would be great.

Thank you I wish I could And one day we will that's for sure. we will be in Florida for the month of June, heading to Pennsylvania. in the next couple days. So pretty tied up as you can see. Working on macerator plumbing fix today. But if the part does not arrive there's always the bypass of just using old school slinky. hose or should I call it a stinky hose? Thanks for the welcome.:)

Good morning. My name is al My wife's name is Erica. I go. by cube man. I sell cubes. What can I tell you? Maybe one day I'll learn how to be more creative My wife and I over the weekend purchased a 2023 Phoenix cruiser. 2552. We have owned many a motor home. We found it difficult to go with the Winnebago's of the world. Our previous motor coaches were bluebirds and prevost. So finding something. in the higher quality was not easy. And then we saw a Phoenix. LOL. The search was over. I am sure I'll have many questions But one day I will. be able to answer a few. from someone else. Looking forward to a rally one day. It's great to meet others who share the same interests. Again, thank you for allowing us to be members of this fine group where we keep these fine machines rolling. And like any other coach of quality, we are. just caretakers.

General Discussion / Shurflow Pentair3100 macerator pump.
« on: May 19, 2025, 11:36:02 am »
Good morning, guys first time owner first time posting. Trying to work on this small problem I'm sure there will be many others, but so be it overall. esthetic part. purchase. She is a 2023 cruiser. 2552 So my macerator pump would be the one that has the two ears connecting to the knobs. One of those ears must have broken off, the pump was leaking. Found this out first day. Dry camping after my purchase. not opposed to repairs on my own. I was hoping that the top part unscrewed from the pump itself or that I could get a direct replacement. Looking forward to any suggestions on a reconfiguration or where I could just locate a plug and play pump. Thank you in advance. I tried to attach a couple pictures. but not having too much luck, I will. at some point need to go back. Read the directions. no doubt. Pictures make helping me and others so much easier. Please bear with me while I go through the learning phase here.
