I seem to remember Barry from the factory mentioning they put a switch to the left of the steering wheel that can be used to power truck radio when vehicle is not running.
Not positive about this but ts worth checking. Leaving such a switch on would give the symptom you describe.

When we picked up our RV and took it for its maiden drive, the radio wouldn't go on. After taking it back the switch you mentioned was in the off position (I think to the left). It was explained that if left in the middle (which is where we keep it now) it will go off when the PC is off and will remain on when switched to the right (and can be used with surround sound while camping). Hope this helps.

Thanks for the recommendation CalCruiser. One question: Why the queen size and not the full?

The queen size leaves a little extra on bottom to tuck in, but enough on top for two to comfortably share without anyone feeling short-changed 😁😁
Just unroll and unfold it on top of your quilt or mattress cover,  unzip both sides, and tuck in the bottom half just enough to keep it in place and away from the heater duct.
I  recommend getting the RVQ queen with a bag  instead of the skirted bedspread type, so that the comforter is the same overall width as the sheets.

Hi Kristy & Gary: Thanks so much for the nice welcome!! A friendly place here. The 2552 is high on our list to check out....our plans are for a Michigan trip this summer, so a stop in Elkhart will fit in perfectly either coming or going from Iowa. This will give us a chance for a firm trade price, as we will be traveling in our Class A Thor Challenger, so they can see it personally.  Did you trade or buy outright? If trade, did it go well?

BTW, who should I ask for when calling PC. Might as well get with the right person at the beginning & not later!

We used Mike Petersen [mpeterson1836@gmail.com / (574) 226-1322]. When we visited a month ago, he had recently (a couple days before) experienced a major catastrophe and might still be dealing with. He always returned calls and emails.

I obtained a copy of what appears to be a "New Limited Warranty Coverage" from Phoenix Cruiser covering all their coaches (copy attached).  This is not the limited warranty document that was included in the owners manual of the New Phoenix Cruiser I picked up in October of 2018.

Of major concern is the "Exclusions From This Warranty" section of Document.  Following is a partial quote from this section:  "The Warrantor further makes no warranty with regard to any vehicle used for commercial purposes, as a permanent or full time residence or as a rental vehicle, or any product not registered and not normally used in the United States or Canada." 

This warranty document goes on to say that "Full Time" for the purposes of this Warranty shall mean continuous occupation of the vehicle for a period exceeding 30 days of continuous use or 18 days per month in two or more consecutive months.

I have no idea when this new warranty document went into effect.  For those of you that recently purchased a new Phoenix Cruiser, was this new warranty document in your owners manual?

I want to make all Phoenix Cruiser Owners that have a coach still under warranty aware of the "Full Time" (as defined by Phoenix Cruiser) exclusion from warranty coverage.

The "Exclusions From This Warranty" section did not appear in the Limited Warranty from my owner's manual. My Limited Warranty looks it's different from the attached.

. We just joined the forum a few days ago.  Dick & Pat from Fort Dodge Iowa. Currently we own a Thor Challenger Class A, but have made a commitment to downsize to something more sensible for us. The Phoenix Cruiser, at least from Internet research, appears to be a sensible choice. If our travel plans work out, a stop in Elkhart for a personal visit this summer is in order.

I made a post several days ago posing some questions, and was very pleased with all the nice responses and answers to those questions. Looking forward to the near future and perhaps becoming PC owners 

Welcome Dick & Pat. We are new to RVing and did a lot of research on a number of forums. This forum would always strike me as particularly useful, the people and their responses perticularly detailed and friendly, and I became a serial lurker. One particularly useful advise was to visit the factory. We did and were able to see the sausage being made - so to speak. A month or so later we took delivery. A few other owners have similar stories, so it might be a thing. Good luck on your journey.

It's funny how I'm noticing more RVs on the road now, though yet to see another PC. We'll keep an eye open for you guys too .

Congratulations on all these big life events you are experiencing!  We are also new PC owners having taken delivery of our 2552 in March.  We have found this forum to be very welcoming with tons of good information.  Be sure to post a picture of your new rig when you take delivery.  Happy Travels!
