General Discussion / Re: Seat covers
« on: May 28, 2018, 10:08:32 am »
Instead of seat covers, which can wear the leather prematurely, clean the leather with a 4:1 ratio of water and wool wash (woolite or clone). Use a toothbrush on extra dirty areas. Use a microfiber cloth to scrub and another to dry. During and after every trip, wipe the leather with a slightly damp microfiber towel and dry with another. If you do this regularly, you will have nice, clean, nurtured leather for a long time.

I suspect everyone at PC receives a tremendous amount of email.  We found calling the sales mgr (left a VM) asking for a copy of each change order got us exactly what we needed. Just call the main PC number as ask for your salesman or the sales mgr.  Good luck!

Adventure Anywhere / Re: Myrtle Beach Recommendations

Thanks garmp and 2 Frazzled!  I’ve never heard of Huntington Beach. When I was kid we vacationed in Cherry Grove as my folks felt Myrtle Beach was too busy.  I haven’t been there in over 50 years so am sure I won’t recognize the place.

General Discussion / Re: Phoenix Cruiser Travel Club web site
« on: April 08, 2018, 01:25:05 pm »
I received an email with my log in name and password to the Phoenix Cruiser Travel Club web site, but it does not work. I reset the password a number of times and still can't get in. I even tried the contact area on the web site explaining my problem with no results.
Any one know how I might correct this? Or who I might contact?

Thanks

There is a set password I believe.  We haven’t been able to log in for months. I can only hope that the web master gets everything sorted out at some point.  I suspect this forum is much more dynamic than the travel site.  Good luck to us all!

John and I have decided to celebrate our 40th anniversary at Myrtle Beach. If anyone has been there and has a campground to recommend we would be most appreciative.  TIA.  tymote

General Discussion / Re: electric cab seats
« on: April 01, 2018, 05:32:17 pm »
We ordered two 6-way electric seats for the cab as we are more concerned about travel comfort than seats turning around.  If we have guests we have some nice folding stools that we can sit on while they take the sofa.  Think about what works for you.  You should check if you can make the change.

We will be taking delivery of a 2552 soon and we had the cabinets over the beds fitted with electrical outlets wired to the pure sine wave inverter.  Earl knew all about cpap requirements - I suspect he has modified many a coach for cpap. You could pose the question to him to get your best answer.

Just got the postcard from PC about the Diamond Gloss paint sealant. Has anyone here opted to have that applied?  How long is it lasting for you?  TIA!

What price freedom to roam and inner peace?  Worth every penny to us!

Congratulations Steve!  I hope we have an equally superior experience when we pick up our rig in a month or so (guessing).

General Discussion / Rock guard for towing

What do folks here use to protect their tow vehicle - a rock guard attached to the RV or to the toad?  As always, thanks in advance!   ;)

General Discussion / Re: Water Filtration?
« on: March 07, 2018, 02:08:22 pm »
I believe I read somewhere that bugs in the water can be as small as 4 microns. My question is to what level should we filter the water to be reasonably sure we won’t get sick?  I am trying to get us away from having to pack bottled water but don’t understand the risks well enough to make an informed decision.  Any help is appreciated!

Has anyone been able to sign in on the travel club site?  I’m pretty sure I am using the correct pw but just can’t get on. Who should I contact to see if I have been added?  TIA!   :help

General Discussion / Re: Staff changes?
« on: February 24, 2018, 04:32:11 am »
We called yesterday to check if everyone was ok - massive flooding in the Michigan/Indiana area. The lady who answered the phone said she and her home were ok as was the factory.  I am guessing that more staff will be brought in to fill a couple of gaps and it makes sense to have a general number for sales without a name now. With Earl taking on added responsibility I can only imagine how busy he is. Our rig has gone to paint so our pickup dates must be pretty close. I just hope the flooding doesn’t get any worse or a few of us might face RVs that have taken a swim. 🧜‍♀️
