General Discussion / Replacing Air Conditioner
« on: September 19, 2022, 11:13:52 am »
2018 2552 w/ Dometic A/C

Our a/c keeps blowing the breaker. I watch the amps steadily go up after start up. After about 5 to 10 minutes the breaker trips. Sooo I am going to replace the whole unit with the quieter RecPro 15,000 unit. DYI of course lol

If you have replaced your a/c dyi any suggests or advice?

Thanks much. John

Hi Lance, we have a 2018 2552. How hard was it to replace the Parallax with the WFCO?

Thanks, John

Thanks Ron, it's the camera system that Phoenix put in.  You made me think it might be a setting in the radio even though it's separate from the radio. . I went thu this before I just can't remember what the fix was lol

Well that didn't work... Still looking for what fuse number the monitor is or any other troubleshooting steps

My lastest problem 2018 2552 Ford E450. Backup Camera Monitor is not working. I disconnected the chassis's battery do to a ECM issue. After that the backup camera Monitor stopped working. Does anyone know what fuse number the monitor is connected to? And any suggestions?
Thanks much, John

Update: the hose I ordered is now on backorder. Any suggestions on who might have one?

Dave at Phoenix said that was just for the hose. He thought it was outrageous

Thanks out of stock. I spent the last two days on the internet. Everyone is out of Stock. Going to try the 1 inch hose with reducers and see what happens. Rinsed grey tank filled with just water on first try LOL

Phoenix just called and is looking for a replacement. My leack is a split so I need to replace. If I can find the larger one than I will replace with that. I'm having no luck online.
Update: Phoenix said if they could get one their cost would be $350+. So I guess I'm going to try and modify the 1 1/2 inch outlet to fit 1 inch hose with reducers. We'll see...

My Sani Con Hose has developed a leak. Thank God for Rescue Tape! Now I'm trying to find a replacement. Any advice? PC parts takes forever to call back or just doesn't. I ordered one from Amazon but it was the 1 inch not the 1 1/2 one. I might try using the smaller one with reducers from 1 1/2 to 1. Any thoughts?

General Discussion / Replacement of Factory Sat Dish
« on: July 21, 2020, 12:05:41 pm »
Anyone one replaced the factory  satellite dish for the larger residential type dish? We have a 2552 and dish is on front center of coach. Wonder if roof will hold it. And if there's enough space for it.

Thanks John
