We have taken three tours through Mexico with Adventure Caravans. We liked the flat car tour so much. We then took the top and bottom copper canyon tour and I think it was even better.  That was in 2009. Felt very safe.   Very good trips

We own a 2400 Cruiser, yr 2010.  Love it, One thing we haven't discovered how to do is balance the Entertainment Center speaker system  ie front to back side to side woofer volumn etc.  The center and the TV are made by Samsung.  Any reader with more smarts about this,  we would be pleased to hear from.

Our experience with towing Hondas has been very good, all automatic transmission. We have used a dolly but found that it is not fun andRvers are supposed to have fun   We previously had towed a Jimmy and a  Bonco11(both manual. About 1987 we towed a Honda civic until 1998 when we got a Honda CRV. We towed it until 2009 when we purchased a Honda Fit.  The Hondas all had auto trans.  Never had any real problems with any of the Toads.  The Jimmy would blow fuses if we didn't pull them prior to towing and it  would also sometimes go into a shimmy after a sharp turn.  We downsized from Class A to a 24ft BT Cruiser in 2007 and then UPGRADED to our 2400 Phoenix Cruiser in 2009.  Phoenix will build one like you want it. The Fit is hands down the best toad we have pulled.  I litteraly cannot tell it is back there without looking in the rear camera monitor.  One thing I would recommend is to have the dealer install the base plate instead of trying to do it yourself unless you are quite familiar with the vehicle.  The front nose of the Fit must be removed to install the plate if you want the "no show" look.  Cost  me $450 installed.  I did do the wiring myself.  RV ers discovered that Hondas didn.t mind being towed years before Honda finally put their blessing on the practice.

Welcome to Phoenix USA RV's Discussion Board. We think you'll find this is a nice place to hang out. Why don't you start off with a little introduction and tell us a bit about yourself?

Hello,We are Eldora and  Bert and we are the proud owners of a Phoenix Cruiser 2400.  We met factory rep Stuart at the FMCA rally at Bowling Green, Ohio this summer and  after much discussion there and via phone and Email after we returned to our home in South Carolina we ordered our unit and picked it up at the factory in the fall of 2009.  Every thing was just as we specified.  Had a good time at the factory for a couple of days visiting with Phoenix personel and other owners and potential owners and touring the Elkhart RV museum etc.  We are quite pleased with the unit and what a pleasure it is to be able to pick up the phone and talk to owner Kermit who knows every bolt and screw in the unit.
We have been RVing for many years; tents, boats, popups and this is our 8th motor home.  The first was a used 72 Winnabago we bought in 1974.  We downsized from Class A s when I reached my 80th birthday and we decided to simplify our lives.  This is the third Class C; took that many to get it right.

Our unit has twin sofa beds.  May be the first 2400 Phoenix has made with the twin sofas.  I had noticed on the Phoenix web site that the 2551 has a little computer desk  behind the copilot seat.  Looked like it should fit on my unit so contacted Kermit and he shipped me aknocked  down desk which I assembled and installed.  Fits fine and the cherry wood and composite top matches the kitchen also.
