Makes me wonder if they have the same expenditure for test equipment that Ford does, as pertains to torque limits of components other than engine (making torque, HP, heat) and transmission (having to deal with increased torque, heat, etc.).
Kinda reminds me of years ago when we sub'ed THM350's for THM400's behind the big block Chevy's because we could and they fit and were cheaper, results didn't bear out the experiment. Then it was back to Caddy THM400's because we could put more clutch packs in them. Glad I am not a hot rodder today.
