I don't think the triple slide option offers much except extra weight and cost. I had a 2910D and there was plenty of space for our needs. We lived in it for four months straight with no problems. Since this will be your first RV purchase, it is important to keep weight under control, especially if you are towing a vehicle. Many people pack up the toad but it does count even though it is said that only tongue weight counts. This unit is not a diesel so it will be limited and hill climbing can be slow.
