General Discussion / The 31 Ft Cruiser

Has anyone purchased the 31 foot cruiser?  We still have not made the commitment, but are pretty sure that we want a cruiser.  Last year we planned to go to Elkhart, but sickness and other issues forced us to change.  Since that time, they have introduced the 31ft.  It looks very nice, but I have my usual questions.  How does it do on gas mileage, and do you feel you have enough room?  We are coming down from a 37ft Allegro Bay.  We have to do it, and even though I have examined the Lexington, Concord, B T Cruiser, and a couple of other, I keep coming back to this brand.  This year it's gonna happen!

  The floor plan looks really nice.  We are still planning a trip to Elkhart, IN in the fall with our Allegro Bay.  Hopefully, we can strike up a deal for this one.  I would like to also see a picture posted of the rest of it.  What does the other side of the room and the bathroom look like now?

Does anyone in the Northeast have a PC we could see.  We are considering buying the 2551 or 3100. We are located in Connecticut and I don't think there are any dealers here.  (We are in Danbury now, right on the NY border).

Hi - Baker's the name
We are working with the factory to trade in a Class A, Allegro Bay for the Cruiser.  They look like they would be a great MH for downsizing.  We are either looking at the 2551 with the single beds, or the new 3100 with single beds along the isle.  My question is what type of gas mileage are you owners seeing out there?

Of course our Allegro (which is 37') only got 10 a gallon, so probably anything is as good, but I was wondering what you are seeing.

Name is Baker.  We have an Allegro Bay, 37DB, class A.  My husband isn't suppose to drive long distances so we need to downsize to something I can drive.  Trying to decide between the 2551 and that new 31 that there isn't even pictures of yet.  These MH's have twin beds with bath in the back.  Do any of you have that type of floorplan and do you find the beds big enough?
