There's one other reason to go to Anchorage.  It's on the great circle route to SE Asia.  I have fond memories of getting on a C-151 at Keesler AFB in Biloxi in short sleeves and 80 degree weather and stopping on our first  stop on the way to Viet Nam at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage and it was 32 degrees and snowing.  I can see the need for 4WD on a motor home if you live in Alaska.  I was also on a tour bus once on the ALCAN Highway and understand why a stiff suspension is needed.

Another hijack!!!

Another shout out for the Big Bang! We watch reruns EVERY single night from 7:00 to 8:00. Have seen most of them 3-4 times and still find them hilarious. Two strange weird PC owners. I know, I know, we should get a life!
