Slide going cockeyed
« on: October 02, 2026, 02:59:25 pm »
2021 Phoenix Cruiser 2351D
Rear bedroom slide goes cockeyed as I try and open (put out) the slide. I have tried to reset/sinc the motors  by stopping and starting 5 or 6 times and holding the operating button for 6 seconds. Both these haven’t worked.
The Lippert dual motor synchronization slide controller reset unfortunately is installed in a closet that is not accessible when slide is in!!!!

Any helpful suggestions

Shaun

Yes and no, there is no way to get into the closet where the reset button is if the slide is in I talked with Phoenix directly. We eventually had to have the whole side mechanism changed $4,000.

That is absolutely horrible, a huge warning to other 2351D owners.

The twin-motor slide-out mechanism surely has a poor track record across the entire RV industry.  If only Phoenix continued installing the prior mechanism where it can be applied.  I think it may have a limit in the width, and it also costs & weighs a lot more.
