Dinette table options for 2552
« on: August 04, 2026, 11:16:29 am »
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum as my husband and I just purchased a used 2552 Cruiser made in 2022. It came with the recliners in the slide-out section and I really would prefer a way to have a table in that section as we like to have a place to eat inside when the weather is inclement or too hot. We also like to play board games and would need a bit of real estate for the table to accommodate that. We brought one of those fold up folding tables that I have seen mentioned in other posts that folds in half and can be raised or lowered. I found it a bit small when playing board games. Anyone have any unique ideas for how we can address this?

welcome to the forum Rose. IM fairly new myself here. I cannot assist in your question as my older PC has a table from the factory that mounts into the floor and stows away under the couch. There is loads of good info here to search for while you wait for someone to chime in.

First of all... Welcome rdrose2499!

My wife and I 100% relate to your dilemma as we missed having a dinette in our previous motorhome.  When ordering our PC back in 2007, a standard dinette was a big requirement for the very reasons you state.

About your 2022 2552 with a slide-out, if you can work it out with the factory, and are willing to spend the money and time, consider having Phoenix reconfigure your PC.  If you know a skilled cabinet maker, consider hiring him for the project.

If you have a pantry between the fridge and the couch, that will need to be sacrificed to provide adequate room for a dinette.

CLICK HERE to see many pictures of our dinette without a slide-out.  Maybe they will provide some ideas.

Thank you! We are waiting on word back from Phoenix HQ as they are looking for a table that would work in our 2552.
