Lockable Cover/Door to Anderson Valve and City Water Connection Has Come Off

Came back to the campsite to find the cover to the Anderson valve on the ground.  The nipple on the left is intact.  It appears that the right side possibly has a spring loaded nipple to attach the door?

Any help with this?

I searched and was unable to find a source supplying replacement parts specific to your needs.  That your question has gone days without a response, indicates the problem is uncommon. 

Approach a clerk in a local hardware specialty store.  Ask about small diameter "round stock".  Universally available in various metal types and diameter, find a piece of the existing plunger's diameter and cut to the appropriate length.  Similarly, a length of equal diameter coil spring can be combined to replace the missing assembly.  Some small nails might be the correct diameter, as another alternative source.

Or, you can go to a repair shop where they will fabricate a replacement for you.  Either way, the door hinge is repairable.

Taildragger, thanks for your reply.  I'm not a whiner or snowflake, but over the last five years, what few questions I have posed on this forum have gone pretty much neglected.  I did send a "parts request" via the Phoenix Cruiser website and received a timely reply.  I can buy a new cover and have it shipped.  I'm certain that it would need painting to match the PC's paint scheme.

After I got home, I put the cover in place with only the one tab and the lock.  I actually think it will hold.

Hopefully you can repair the hinge.  If not, you could probably adhesive in a couple of tabs on the hinge side of the old cover with corresponding tabs on the coach side.  Fit the cover tabs in against the tabs on coach, then lock the cover to fix it into place.  I'd consider it a bit of a hack method but it would work if the hinge repair just doesn't work.  Food for thought.
