Bolt purpose
« on: October 11, 2022, 08:14:06 pm »
Hi all.  Can anyone tell me what this bolt (same in opposite side) does? I have looked high and low for a manual for this slide.  Called the company multiple times with no answer and no call back when messages were left.  I need help.  The reason I am asking is, I want to know if there is a way to adjust the slide.  The rollers (previous owners) have damaged the linoleum and I’m wondering if these are adjustment bolts. But I don’t want to start just turning bolts. See the second picture for the damage.

They adjust the tilt of the slide top-bottom so when the slide goes in it evenly contact's the side of the RV body and properly seals.

If they are miss-adjusted, you will have a larger gap at the top or bottom half of the slide and may get water leakage when driving in the rain.

The slide-out rollers damaging the flooring like that has been noted by many PC owners.  Someone here should be able to provide some insight on adjusting those rollers.

I hope so.  What I really want to do is put in vinyl laminate wood floor like Volk did; however, adding up to 7mm in height to the the floor would interfere with the rollers since they do not seem to be adjustable.
i.e.- the rollers on the slide would butt up to the floor and stop the slide from closing, even if I was able to install the flooring.  Maybe ai am missing something though.

I removed the carpet from our 3100 last week and installed commercial 3mm solid vinyl. It appears to only have one roller centered in the slide out. When I put the slide in I put another piece of vinyl down so as not to damage the new floor.  I may try a piece of thin aluminum or a kick plate from a door.  My total height is less than the carpet and pad.
