2551 Closet Dimensions

If anyone is camping in their 2551 and wouldn't mind measuring the hanging closet in the bathroom I would really appreciate it.        I saw some great bins that I think would fit on the bottom of the closet and could be used for laundry but I don't want to buy them til I know they will fit.  They are actually recycling containers that have a flip top opening on one half and the rest of the top could act as shelving.  Can't wait til we get our new unit.

Hi Sue,

I went out to measure our 2010 2551 closet.  This is not exact because the outside wall slopes inward, but the depth is about 20 inches up to about 12 inches from the bottom of the closet and the length is about 36 1/2 inches to the dining table stored in the closet.

For what its worth, I built a shelf for the closet and hung a laundry bag in the shower as shown in the pics.

Forutnately we have a store in MI that is not too far from us so if they do not fit I can return them.  I thought they might be nice because they could sit on the bottom of the cloest and is all you have to do is flip the front flap open and drop in the clothes.  They have a few vents in them so that there will be some air circulation.  They were strong enough that you could stack things on top of them. 

I also liked these shoe boxes but do not know if they will take up too much room.  Here is a link for the shoe boxes.
