Stolen Mirrors on Phoenix Cruiser

Hello, I hope someone can help. I have a 2006 Phoenix Cruiser 2551 in a storage yard. Some jerk stoles the mirrors, both driver and passenger side. I finally got a check from the insurance and was looking on a website for Velvac mirrors. I don't know what the arm length is on the mirrors or how to measure, There 13, 14, 16 and 17 1/2 inch arms. Which ones came with the year and model?

I have same year, different model. Got the factory style extendable mirrors, and have been very happy. They do NOT have the heated glass, but that was not an issue for me. I added a stick on convex mirror on the right side, and it solved any blind spot issues. MUCH quieter at higher speeds.

The power wires had to be converted over, but it was an easy job. 

Here is our 2007 Phoenix Cruiser with original long-arm Velvac mirrors.

I imagine the 2006 has the same long-length arms.

I have a comment on the length of our mirror arms.  Though we are able to see a bit better behind the motor home, I feel the benefit does not outweigh the threat.  The extra long arms is a magnet for kids to hang on.  I caught a little boy about to grab an arm and hang on it.  Fortunately I stopped him in time.  From that point on, we always fold in our arms when parked anywhere.  THAT IS A PAIN.  With short arms, we would leave the arms extended.

I have read of other PC owners saying that they returned to their rig to find a mirror with arm hanging by the wires.  I imagine a kid hung on it and broke it.

I turn on the back-up camera every time I start the engine.  It works great to see where the mirrors can't.  I mounted the back-up monitor where the mirror goes.....just perfect!


There is another rear view mirror worth consideration.  Volkemon installed OEM Ford E150 van mirrors on his 2006 PC.  They look very nice on his rig.  They are a very nice black plastic duel-arm that telescope outward.  If I had to replace our Velvacs, I would buy them.  Here is a good picture of the Ford OEM mirror.  Since PCs are narrow for a motor home, and the Ford mirrors extend outward, it seems a decent alternative that does not require painting.  I don't know if the OEM mirror includes the heated mirror feature.
