We have two AC units in our 2552. You can only run the front AC off the generator (question from another comment). I made a Velcro on cover out of a car sun shade for the shower dome. Heat wasn’t the issue, the excessive light was too much in the morning. Two AC’s were a must for us and alternating them helps with the noise factor.

The front is a Dometic Penguin II 13,500 btu and the rear is a Dometic 11,000 btu.

Ahh ok thanks, then I understand the noise comment. I think someone here purchased a 2552 and had 2 houghtons installed. Was wondering if it was you.
