Has anybody ever replaced pop out windows for slide windows on 2016 PC 2100? The pop out windows don’t really have much ventilation. The slide windows seem to have more ventilation. Any any advice?

I have had campers with the slide windows and agree with you they provide better ventilation.  However the one thing I like about crank out vs. slide is that you can leave the crank out partially to fully open during rain events whereas the slide windows are more susceptible to allowing rain to enter.  I frequently have all my ceiling fans (3) blowing out and the crank windows open.  The fans are Maxxfan with built in covers to keep rain out.  I am not sure if the slide windows come in dual pane which may be another consideration.

I believe the pop-out windows (called jalousie windows) were introduced on PCs some time around 2011.  Our 2007 PC-2350 has sliding windows and we paid more for the thermal pane option.  They are made by HEHR.

I imagine the best place to get your answer regarding interchanging of windows from jalousie to sliding, is to call Phoenix.  You might also find your answer on the HEHR website but the link to get there does not work for me at the moment.

If the two different windows are interchangeable, it does not seem difficult to do...at least not installing the sliding windows.

I agree with fandj.  We have had both. Our 2008 had the slide windows but you could not leave them open in the rain.  Our 2012 have the pop out and with the fans running you do get a nice breeze.  Our slide windows were dual panes as well as our pop-out.  What I really like about the pop-out versus the slide is that the pop-out are frameless.

RON—i know for a fact that the later models in 2011 had the pop-out windows (jalouise windows).
