Hi roadslesstravelled,
We own a 2007 model year 2350, same year, different chassis (E350), and different floor plan. This is what I know.
The 2007 PC model year was the first year equipped standard with the whole house inverter. That is simply great. We have the inverter and love having 110 volts handy all the time. I personally feel the 2007 model year was the first year of today's Phoenix Cruiser in regards to standard features and such. Buying a 2007 or a 2013 of the same floor plan, there are only superficial differences with the house and features. A 2006 is also a good year but you have to watch out for what might be lacking as it has a shorter list of standard equipment.
Early 2007s are sometimes built on 2006 chassis, very commonly practiced among all motor home manufactures. If the chassis is a 2007, it will have a tan colored Ford dash board. If the chassis is a 2006 or older, the dash board will be a medium gray color. Mind you, other than the colors mentioned, I don't know of any chassis differences. 2006 or 2007, it really doesn't matter. Just prepare yourself for the possibility.
The drifting/wandering feeling while driving is a very common problem with motor homes of all brands and sizes. Do not be discouraged about that as there are affordable remedies. Start with a front wheel alignment from a reputable truck suspension shop, and proper tire pressure. If you are still not satisfied, then upgrading your shocks, front & rear stabilizer bars, steering stabilizer, and adding a rear trac bar are all worth consideration, but not neccessarlity prioritized in that order.
Welcome to the PC forum. Maybe you'll become a PC owner one day soon like most of us here.
Blessings,
Ron
